Biophysical Journal Welcomes New Editor-in-Chief and Editorial BoardMembers for 2022 The Biophysical Journal is pleased to welcome Vasanthi Jayaraman as the next Editor-in-Chief of the journal as of January 1, 2022. Jayaraman, of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the McGovern Medical School of the Univer- sity of Texas Health Science Center (USA), is a long-time contributor to the journal, most recently as the Associate Editor for the Channels and Transporters section. Sudha Chakrapani of the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at Case Western Reserve University (USA) has been appointed as the new Associate Editor for that section. With the term of the Associate Editor for Genome Biophysics expiring at the end of 2021, that section has become part of a combined section called Genome Biophysics and Nucleic Acids under Associate Editor Jason Kahn . The journal is fortunate that Tamar Schlick , having completed her term as Associate Editor, has agreed to continue as an Editorial Board Member for the combined section.
