Sliding Diffusion Along One-Dimensional Protein-Protein Interface The diffusion of molecules along bio- molecular interfaces, often referred to as sliding, has been observed for several systems. In particular, the sliding of proteins along double- or single-stranded DNA is well studied and is essential to biological function. https:/www.biophysics.org/blog/slid- ing-diffusion-along-one-dimension- al-protein-protein-interface
