However, we do not recommend applicants in countries (Canada, India, Portugal and United Kingdom) already represented by current Call for BPS Ambassador Program APPLICATION DEADLINE: JULY 15, 2020 It is more important now than ever to maintain the lines of communication in research. As COVID-19 spreads, it can be a reminder that scientific research is a community effort, and to optimize our opportunities for success, it is vital that we share information. Would you like to advocate for biophysics edu- cation and knowledge sharing? If so, please consider applying for the BPS Ambassador Program. BPS works hard to con- tinue to develop biophysics as an inclusive, interdisciplinary, international field and the Ambassador Program is creating a global network of BPS members who serves as local Society resources in their countries or regions to promote the field and foster conversations around biophysics. Ambassadors will play a key role in providing the Society with relevant local content to share with the membership at large and will serve as BPS’ go-to contact in their country and region. Through this program, the Society hopes to grow the biophysics network by educating and inspiring others to pursue careers in biophysics and further develop its advocacy efforts around the world.
