Constanza Torres-Paris University of California, San Diego Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry What skill have you learned in your studies that you find useful in other aspects of your life? My PhD project has taught me about resilience and tolerance to frustration. It has also taught me to value and love myself not only after conquering a final goal, but also while pursuing the never-ending path of science, especially on the days when experiments don’t work as expected. This is something I apply daily to my life outside the lab.
