Special Issue: Membranes in Focus

Biophysical Journal will publish a Special Issue titled Membranes in Focus centered around microscopic, spectroscopic, and computational advances that reveal insights into the organization and function of living and biomimetic membranes. The Journal welcomes submissions reporting new advances in mem- brane biophysics broadly defined, with particular interest in those using advanced microscopy, spectros- copy, computational methods, and/or other novel methodologies. Membrane organization and function in living cells, membrane proteins in situ, and membrane biophysics of complex systems are of particular interest. The Journal aims to publish the highest quality work; articles should have sufficient importance to be of general interest to biophysicists regardless of their research specialty.
