The time it takes for the membrane to fully wrap a virus depends strongly on the diffusion rate of the receptors in the membrane, since new receptors must migrate to the wrapping site. This study uses a monte-carlo simulation to explore at how interactions between the receptors effect the time it takes for a virus to be fully wrapped.
