Mobile App and Desktop Planner The Biophysical Society’s Official Mobile App is available for download in the App Store and Google Play Store. iOS and Android Users can search for “Biophysical Society Events” to download the App. We do not support native apps for Windows Mobile, however, those users may access our mobile-friendly Desktop Planner at www.biophysics.org/2022meeting. Using the Mobile App you can view & create schedules, view abstracts/ authors/exhibitors, receive event alerts from BPS, Join the conversation in social media, find & interact virtually with other attendees, view the e-poster gallery, and sync itineraries that were created with the Desktop Planner. On-Demand Content On-Demand content will be accessible for all in-person attendees and on-demand registrants for viewing March 14, 2022, through April 30, 2022. Content includes: • 2022 Biophysical Society Lecturer, Frances Arnold, California Institute of Technology • 18 Subgroup Symposia • 4 Workshops • Society Awardee Talks One-on-One Mentor Session The Membership Committee is pleased to launch a new program called One-on-One with a Mentor. This program aims to connect Early Career and Student members with mentors at the Annual Meeting. We hope this connection will be helpful to you during your time at the meeting. Each mentor will only be assigned one mentee, on a first-come, first- served basis. BPS will try our best to match mentor-mentee pairs based on your answers to the questionnaire, your areas of research, Subgroup membership, etc. Parking There are many parking options — both garages and lots — conveniently located within blocks of the Moscone Center. Additionally, San Francisco has several thousand metered and non-metered timed spaces around the Moscone Center. Meter rates vary per hour depending upon wheth- er the meter is in a central location. Meter debit cards are available for purchase through the city of San Francisco. Please pay attention to the posted meter and regulation signs, including scheduled street cleaning and commuter lane restrictions. Poster Pickup Posters ordered in advance through Tray Printing will be available for pick up at the Moscone Center South, Exhibition Level, outside the Exhibit Hall entrance during the following hours: Saturday 4:00 pm –7:00 pm Sunday–Tuesday 9:00 am –11:00 am and 1:00 pm –4:00 pm No Wednesday Pick up Poster Sessions, Exhibit Hall ABC Sunday–Wednesday The Exhibit Hall will open at 8:00 am each morning. It will remain open for poster viewing until 10:00 pm each night, except for Tuesday, when it will close at 4:00 pm for safety purposes during exhibit tear down. Posters are arranged according to topic. Your poster board number begins with “B.” On the day of presentation, authors assigned odd-numbered poster boards should present 1:45 pm –2:45 pm (10:30 am –11:30 am on Wednesday); even-numbered posters should present 2:45 pm –3:45 pm ,

Exhibitor Passport Competition Pick up a Passport Competition booklet inside the entrance of the Exhibit Hall. Visit participating exhibitors, get your passport stamped, and drop your passport at the Society Booth located in the South Lobby before 2:30 pm Tuesday. The winner will be announced on Tuesday at 3:00 pm in the Exhibit Hall. You must be present at the drawing to win. Good luck! Family Room, South Lobby, Room 101 The Family Room is equipped with diapers, electrical outlets for pumps, labels for breast milk, plastic bags for disposing of diapers, a small refrigerator, private areas for nursing, and a small area for rest and play.

Image Contest Vote for your favorite image in the Image Contest! To showcase the artistic side of scientific imaging, a panel of judges has selected 10 final- ists to display their image at the Annual Meeting. These 10 images will be on display in the Exhibit Hall during the following hours: Sunday – Monday 10:00 am –5:00 pm Tuesday 10:00 am –2:30 pm Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their two favorite images during these times. First, second, and third place winners will be announced on Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 pm in the Exhibit Hall. The 2022 Art of Science Image Contest is fully supported by Chroma Technology. Individuals Requiring Assistance Attendees requiring special assistance during the meeting should visit the Society Meeting Office in the South Lobby, Room 105, of the Moscone Center. Society staff will do their best to accommodate requests, however, we cannot ensure that special needs will be met Wireless Internet access is available free-of-charge throughout the common areas of the Moscone Center, excluding the Exhibit Hall. Meditation Room, South Lobby, Room 102 A room will be available for attendees to use for quiet meditation or prayer.
